Wei Hwa Chinese School which was established in 1974 has been served the community for fifty years. The reputation has expanded its popularity with excellent teaching quality. In addition to Taiwan Center for Mandarin Leaning (TCML) for adult, the school plays the role of culture bridge as well. Based on the principle of freedom, taking initiative-taking students in cultural experience including difference of attitudes, traditions, behaviors, and ways of life. The Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning program is a hybrid course design of in-person and online courses to provide a stronger sociocultural connection. The main curriculum, Let's Learn Mandarin, is designed for the general population to learn Mandarin as a foreign language. The texts provide the language curriculum about the basic daily lives of adults with the focus on the practical and functional aspects. To enable learners to attain the skills to apply and master the language, the curriculum has been extended and customized to student’s background as well.
