Established in 1956 & a 501(C)3 non-profit organization, Northern New Jersey Chinese Association (NNJCA) has excellent resources in teaching Mandarin. For 60+ years, we take the promotion of culture and Mandarin teaching as our main mission. NNJCA Chinese School offers children language and culture classes. Hwa-Yin Youth Chorale offers singing practices. For TCML, we offer on-line and/or in-person sessions of the Mandarin and Culture classes for 18 and order students, 3 hours each week on Sunday afternoons. We are conveniently located at Montville Township High School, close to Highways 80, 287, and 280.
Our TCML program focus on Mandarin conversation. The class is to introduce daily speaking Mandarin in traveling, food ordering, business connections, also in cultural, economic, and language exchanges. We use textbooks published by OCAC with conversation and pinyin materials written by our teaching staff. Effectively tailored teaching ensures every student learns in a way that is suitable for them. Students also has the opportunity to learn the beauty of Taiwanese culture, the highlight of different cuisine, learn how to order famous dishes, try traditional Calligraphy and brush painting, and learn Taiwanese art craft.
