Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning (TCML) at Jersey Shore Chinese School (JSCS) is a non-profit organization. The school has been located at William R. Satz School of Holmdel, New Jersey since 1989. JSCS offers classes from Pre-K to 12th Grade, and TCML classes are for adult age 18 and above. TCML-JSCS is a global program with a regional-focused curriculum. We offer various classes in Mandarin for students with different levels of proficiency. We also offer both in-person and online classes with flexibility. The campus is conveniently located at in Holmdel, New Jersey. Only 7 minutes from Bell Works and 20 minutes from Red Bank.
In addition to language courses, TCML-JSCS offers a variety of engaging cultural activities including calligraphy, yoga, singing and more. We also provide celebrations for traditional festivals such as Lunar New Year celebrations, Dragon Boat Festival rice dumpling making, Mid-Autumn Festival mooncake tasting, and activities for both Halloween and the Lunar Ghost Festival, as well as making delicious rice balls for the Winter Solstice. Additionally, we offer participation in speech contests, character recognition competitions & singing contests. We also partner with National Taitung University having the complementary International Pen Pals Program for one-on-one conversation opportunity with native speakers. TCML-JSCS achieved remarkable success in 2022 & 2023 as one of the top 10 "Best" TCMLs globally.
