Provide Mandarin classes and various activities to learn language and foster a deeper understanding of the traditional culture. This program is designed as a family-oriented weekend educational opportunity. TCML - Ai-Hwa Chinese School in El Paso classes are on Sundays from 9 to noon following local school district calendars i.e. no classes during spring break or Fall intersession or Spring intersession. Each semester has 13 sessions. Fall semester is from mid Aug. to mid-December. Spring semester is from mid Jan. to Mother’s Day. Summer session is offered as needed.
Students will learn to listen, speak, read and write thru pinyin phonetic system and traditional characters. Students will also be exposed to traditions culture through academic and cultural activities. There is a resource room- language lab for learning enhancement, in addition to five levels of classes including Introductory Mandarin, Fundamental Mandarin I, Fundamental Mandarin II, Intermediate Mandarin and Advanced Mandarin.
